My wedding was on 7/15/11 at the beautiful Barcelo Maya Palace. We were there for 10 days and had over 40 guests make the trip with us. Everyone stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace.
I can not say anything negative about our experience! Everything was just perfect! Our guests loved the resort! Everything you could possibly need for your guests is there… drinks, food, entertainment, disco, shopping, water sports, spa… so much to do! Everyone was so pleased. We all had the time of our lives.

I had the pleasure of having the wedding of my DREAMS at the Barcelo Maya Palace earlier this month. I have practically nothing but wonderful things to say about this experience! We spent 5 days at the resort and truly wish we had booked more time, as our departure came WAY too soon!

We worked with Claudia Vazquez, and had been corresponding with her since January 2011. We didn't start sending more frequent emails until mid-summer, when she began contacting us with the planning spreadsheet and choices for our wedding. Whenever I would email her, she would respond within one or two days, even on weekends. I was truly amazed at her prompt replies, as I had read on other forums that other coordinators could take anywhere between 1-2 weeks to reply. We met her in person on the day after our arrival, and she had all of our choices saved in a folder. Went over final details and gave her some of the items we had brought from home, and on our wedding day, everything was set up perfectly. Claudia is EXTREMELY nice and I hope to visit the resort again, just to say hi to her!
Claudia was an amazing coordinator and extremely efficient. I personally work in the wedding industry in San Diego and have worked many weddings with different coordinators. That being said I knew exactly what to look for when choosing a coordinator for my wedding. I know tons of coordinators in San Diego but I wanted a Cancun/Playa del Carmen wedding so I had to start from scratch when choosing my coordinator. Immediately we started off to the right start when I noticed how responsive she was when emailing and texting her. She always kept in communication with my wife and I, and always made time to set up phone conversations. Let's fast forward to the big day - Wow!
Claudia you did an amazing job and all of my family and friends kept mentioning how you were going thru the entire venue to assure that everything was going according to plan. Everything flowed perfect and you paid attention to all of the details we had discussed. I will always promote you anytime anybody asks me who coordinated my wedding in Playa del Carmen and thanks again for being such an amazing person to work with!
